The Keirsey Temperament Sorter®-II (KTS®-II) is one of the most widely used instruments for assessing temperament, character, and personality in use today. It is easily accessible, in both an online form and in printed forms. While trained psychologists and others may use it professionally, it is most often used by interested adults and young adults in may walks of life for self-understanding and self help.
Because of its accessibility and understandability, numerous organizations worldwide, including public and privately owned corporations, federal, state and local governments, secondary schools, colleges, universities and vocational schools, and the military, use the KTS-II as a training, management and educational tool. In addition, researchers have used it in a variety of studies and doctoral dissertations, which shed additional light on its validity and useful applications.
